How many questions are in WAEC Biology exam?

WAEC or GCE exam has three papers.

  • PAPER 1: is practical (for school candidates only) with three parts (I, II, III) to last for 2 hours.
    • PART (I): has two compulsory questions for all candidates.
    • PART (II):  has one question for candidates in Ghana, Sierra Leone and The Gambia only.
    • PART (III): has one question for candidates in Nigeria only.
  • PAPER 2: has two sections (A–B) to last for 2½ hours.
    • SECTION A – is for an hour with 60 objective questions for all candidates.
    • SECTION B – has 8 questions in three parts (I, II, III) for 1½ hours.
      • PART (I): has 4 questions for all candidates to answer 2.
      • PART (II): has 2 questions for candidates in Ghana, Sierra Leone and The Gambia to answer 1.
      • PART (III): has 2 questions for candidates in Nigeria to answer 1.
  • PAPER 3: is alternative to practical ( only for GCE candidates) for 2 hours with three parts (I, II, III).
    • PART (I): has two compulsory questions for all candidates.
    • PART (II): has questions for candidates in Ghana, Sierra Leone and The Gambia only.
    • PART (III): has questions for candidates in Nigeria only.
