Ensure the following documents are ready before paying the TRCN EXAM FEES because you’ll have to snap or scan and send them online immediately afterwards.
β School certificate
This includes any of your NCE, Bachelor degree, Master degree or Doctorate certificate.
If your certificate is from a Nigerian institution, it is automatically verified for TRCN registration.
If it is from an institution abroad, do not make any payment until the accreditation of such institution is verified by TRCN to correspond with their eligibility standards.
β Teaching qualification
If your verified school certificate is in Education (i.e. NCE, B.Ed, M.Ed, etc.), you’re automatically qualified to register for TRCN abroad.
Otherwise, you need to also present a teaching qualification such as PGDE, PDE or PDDE in addition to your school certificate.
β Proof of origin
One of either your National I.D. Card, Voter’s Card, International Passport or any document that confirms that you are a Nigerian indeed.
β Proof of residence
Work permit, utility bill, admission letter or any document that shows that you are indeed living abroad.
β Passport photograph
Either snapped or scanned.
β Affidavit (not for all)
This is only needed when there are discrepancies in the spelling or arrangement of your name across any of your documents.
